Lately, i've been feeling as if my friends Junette and Sara are getting more attention then I am at school. I'm kinda jealous, but it doesn't really matter cause i've been more focused on school work. I've been reading this book called, "Jacob Have I Loved" and it's a really good book, but then Junette and Sara say that i've been quiet. And it's true I have. But every time I feel like just working, they get all sad cause they think i'm mad at them cause i'm not talking to them.
I felt kinda bad for my friend Desiree, cause there's this field trip coming up, and Desiree's dad said that he'll pay for it if she was SUPER good. But then she said she got in trouble, and she says she doesn't know if she's going now. Sara was like, "You need to stop getting in trouble." And everybody was like "yeah". I was quiet, but I really wanted to say, "I don't blame her." But I stayed silent. I wanna help her now, so she can come, but I don't know if I can raise $500 for the two of us. I'll see what I can do :-)

Football Tea party

I think this is a oxymoron, but today, me and my sisters had a Football tea party. It took me an hour to make the food, then we ate for an hour. After we just laid some blankets on the living romm floor and started watching football. It was fun :-).

I love soccer, but i've been getting so many calf pains. Last weekend, after the first game and before the last, my mom stopped by Walmart to buy me some Sports Creme, and when I got home, it worked. I was so happy, but after a few days, it came back. My mom said I need to do some calf stretches every now and then, and i'm like ok.

Feels like over a 100 each day...

Me and my soccer team, won 4th place at Ayso Area championship last weekend! It's really fun hanging out with them in between games, and one game, I was running towards the ball cause the other team had it, and the kicked it right into my face. That hurt. ALOT. But I survived lol.

Christmas this year was totally awesome cause I got a phone! It was in my stockings, ringing, and I answered,"Hello?" And it was my grandma who called and we talked about the phone. After that, me and my cousins have been texting up a storm lol. It was funny cause my cousins got new phones too, and we would be like oh my gosh when we found out other ways to do stuff.

I had a slumber party, and it was kinda...weird. Well I shouldn't say that, cuz my parents were ALOT of help, and I invited my friends so we could do Xmasy stuff, but:

Junette couldn't spend the night (but she came for a couple of hours)
Desiree got in trouble so she couldn't come
And Sara was the only one there.

But me and sara had a great time, we played never ending rounds of Life, ate food, played the wii, and just hang out.
So this "one on two (minus one)" thing was a success!

My mom has been planning and buying stuff for a garden, and she made composter with this tub that she got from Walmart. Now I want a garden, cause that sounds really cool. As you see right there ----------------------------------------->
It's the diagram I made out of blocks. The:

Soccer :-S

Why oh why did the fun in soccer have to stop? Yesterday was me and the sharks last game, and we won. It was like the best day ever, until today. That's when I played my first club game, but there was some difficulty for me:
-It was FREEZING
-The field was HUGE
-I played on a team with all BOYS
-This one dude elbowed me in the lip, and it was a little swollen.
-And when I racing to the ball against this person from the other team, i got there, but right when my foot touched it, i fell and slipped onto my butt :-(.

Good news!

Yesterday, my mom and dad took me and my little sisters to L.A to see the live show of (our household favorite kids tv show) Yo Gabba Gabba. (Sara seems to make fun of me about this but whatever.) It was so much fun, cause all the songs and effects, and just going there made it all awesome. Then after, that evening, it was all a blur cause we were driving back, and I kept on waking up and going to sleep, so I can't really tell what went on there lol.

Yesterday, me and Sara we're all sitting in class, hen the intercom came on and the lady said,
"Here are the winners for the Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser,"
I kept on working.
"4th grade, Chloe Emory (this girl on my soccer team)"

"6th grade, was a tie breaker between...IYANA HAGGINS AND SARA BRANDT."

Me and Sara start freaking out, and our class starts clapping for us.

Every year at school, we have a "Red Ribbon Week" to show that we shouldn't use drugs and stuff. And each day, there is a activity you can do such as:

Monday: Wear Red
Tuesday: Hunt for some red ribbons!

Thursday: Crazy Hair Day
Friday: Wear your Halloween costumes

Since tommorow is Wednesday, today me and my bff Desiree, went to a store called Angie's Outlet, and since we're gonna be twins, we bought matching t-shirts!

:-( I had a feeling I was dumb. Today, my mom went to my parent teacher conference, and she said it was all good.. until they got to math. I suck so much at math, the my mom and dad have found me a math tutor. Now this may be a hunch, but I have a feeling that no one in the G.A.T.E class, ever had a tutor. Cause if they're smart why do they need a tutor? But I guess the good thing is, is that my tutor is my mom's friend, so that helps all little...

It's almost that time of year again, when I see a bunch of kids trick-or-treating- while i'm passing out candy with my grandpa. I can't really celebrate halloween for a couple of reasons, but this year I have some ideas to get some kids to come to our house:

1. In chalk on the drive way, I write "Happy Halloween!" And draw some ghosts and stuff.
2. Get some good candy for once instead of tootsie rolls.
3. Make the driveway a fall theme.
4. Get some little plastic dollar pumpkins from Walmart.
5. Get my self a cat ears hat.

I still have plenty of time to work on this, but I like to start planning early :-).

I made the french toast today, and it turned out kinda good. It wasn't as soggy as last time, but you couldn't taste the cinnamon lol. So next week I might try that again :-).

Attempting the dreaded french toast

Tomorrow at my grandpa's house, I'm going to try to make french toast (again). The last time I made it, I literally dunked the bread in the eggs, and it turned out all soggy in the end. So this time, I'm gonna get a basting brush or something and lightly wipe the egg on the bread. Let's hope it turns out better!

We finally played a soccer game against girls, and we won! (Sunny I don't care which way it goes)
The score was 2-6. It took me 100 tries to kick it in the goal, but I managed to make one! Rosamond girls are tall, skinny, and fast, but we still crushed them :-). And after the game my dad (who's back) gave me 2 dollars! I know that's not alot, but in my world it is! He said every goal I made, I get a dollar! Although the enjoyment of playing against girls will come to a end next week cause we have to play against the boys. Go Cal City U12 Girls! (a.k.a Sharks!)

Disaster drill done!

Today was sooooooo much fun! Me and my class mates on the 6th grade sides got to experience what would happen if you had a injury during a intruder alert. So me and friends after getting instructions from the office, we went to a empty class room and had to act out our injuries until the police and firemen got there. At the office, one of the police people handed out a slip of paper to tell us what our injury was, and mine was "broken left ankle". At first I was thinking, "why is it left ankle, why not the right?" Oh well. So then after lying on the ground for 20 minutes, firemen came in and inspected how hurt we were. It depends the state of the injury of how you'll be graded such as green card, yellow, red, or black. Black is the worst injury yet cause if you get a black card... you're dead lol. I got a yellow card. My friend Sara (www.17sara17.blogspot.com)
Her injury was a bunch of deep cuts on her legs. Ouch. I had to be carried out of the room by a 2 firemen to the cafeteria where they called the "treatment area". Other then that, IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

On Friday evening, at 4:30, I went to my grandpa's house to spend the weekend there with my cousins from San Bernadino.
Then Sunday afternoon at 2:30, I left and came back home, for 2 hours to get another bag for my bff's Judy's slumber party!
Then on Monday, at 4:30 once again, I came home, and went to sleep at 5 p.m (I was felling very low on energy) and went to sleep the whole night until I had to wake up at 6, to go to school!

Since i'm already starting to become sick, I think I can help other people by making homade tea!

At school, my teacher gave me and my class an assigment, on a project called "Circle of my life." It's suppose to get each other to know one another. And I'm done! :-D

In my G.A.T.E class, I have a lot of friends from soccer practice, or from somewhere else. First there is Shania, she's on my soccer team and she kicks some major butt at goalie :-). Then there is Marissa, she's new at soccer though. Then last is Twinkie. Well his name really ISN'T Twinkie, it's Chandler. He plays soccer, but he's not on my team, but I practiced with him evey now and then. But you can't forget my awesome friends Sara, Eric, Desiree, Alexandria, and Sage! Tommorow is the day I officially become a 6th grader! When school starts, it's gonna be awesome, cause I can see my bffs, my new teacher, and see the new cafeteria and library! Omg i'm so happy! And I can wear my new outfit:

Although the shoes i'm not so sure about, cause I have two pairs, but one pair isn't close to matching my outfits colors, and the other pair only works if I have jeans on. Oh well :-)

It's official! My fave crew on ABDC is We Are Heros! They maybe girls, but they can sure dance! If you saw tonights episode, when they did the Beyonce challenge, it was amazing! Soccer Practice!

Today at soccer practice, it was fun, but it kinda got messed up at the end. We did some drills, but my fave part was when my my team did a practice game against the boys. We started the game with 6 people on my team and 7 on the other. But then in the middle of the game, one of the girls had to leave, so we were left with 5 players. Then one of the other girls got hit twice at the same time (long story) so then were left with 4 players. but we still managed to crush them in the end :-). Kinda. The score was 2 to 1 and I scored the two so that was a bonus. And i'm just lovin our new team name "Fire Angels". Our uniform colors might be red and white. So um, yay! Can't wait until our next practice! Go Fire Angels! :-D

My favorite TV show is having it's 4Th season! It's called Randy Jackson's Americas Best Dance Crew, and the creator is (obviously) the judge from American Idol, Randy Jackson! I watched the premiere today and it was AWESOME. If you want to see it, go to MTV on Sundays at 6 p.m. I like watching because it's about people from around the nation (even Puetor Rico) come and dance on stage and impress the judges to get the 100,000 dollar prize and a chance to be AMERICAS BEST DANCE CREW!!! If you guys watch it, comment me back so you can tell me how you like it! :-D

Viva Las Vegas!

This week, I went to Las Vegas, and trust me, vegas is vegas. My family and I had loads of fun! But before we left, I had to bring these two...
After three hours of driving, we arrived at the very well-knowed Las Vegas. So um, which hotel are we staying at? The Rio?That place?

The Luxor?

Neither! We stayed at the Tuscany, and it was awesome! (Note to self: If your gonna pick a hotel, pick this one!)

That's me and my dad at the main swimming pool, I bought myself a swim cap so my hair wouldn't get wet. It keeps the water out, but it makes your head feel like it's being sucked by a vacuum cleaner!

At the pool, I learned how to do the breaststroke and another technique (Note to self: If your gonna swim in the deep end, do it right. Or else you'll be pulled out of the water by pedestrians several times).

This is the lap pool. When I went with my sister Robin and my dad, this lady taught me some swimming styles. We should have went in this one first! It was the right height, because the whole pool was only 3ft deep!

The lap pool had a jacuzzi too. And next to it, was a gym, where me and my dad worked out at! I lost 107 calories! But then ate it back at dinner. (Note to self: Don't eat three slices of pizza, four bread sticks, a cup of lemonade, and marinara sauce all at once. It makes your belly want to jump out of your insides and puke itself in the toilet).

When it was time to leave, I took some last minute pics. This is a pic of the "New York New York" hotel.

This is a statue near the MGM hotel. The hotel is right next to this place called "M&M World", but sadly we didn't go.

So, how do we get back? No worries, I have a map. :-)

I bought this snow globe at the outlet mall to add on to my collection. Now I have 9 snow globes!

I wish we could have stayed a little longer, to do some more sightseeing and stuff, but hey, one more night with me and my sisters, my parents would have...

It took all day, but it worked! In bag #1 we have a mini purse, a headband, a watermelon scented candle, paper flower magnets, a rock magnet, a beaded ring, and a bracelet!
Then in bag #2 I have the card, hello kitty chap sticks, and paper flowers that smell like baby powder lol.
And since I didn't have any party bags, I used paper lunch bags decorated them.

I hope Judy likes it!!!

It was sooooooo much fun! I really enjoyed visiting my grandma and seeing her new apartment! It really suits her!
We went to this awesome mall with dozens of stores called "Fashion Valley"

I'm back from ZUMA beach, not Zumalibu. It was very pretty! It was all fun and games until my friend Kyndall and I got to the actual water. It was so eww! Well it was pretty cool, but there was ALOT of seaweed just floating in the water. And when I was trying to find some sand dollars, all I got was sand crabs. Anyways, look at my Beach Findings!
